Informed Choice has been named an accepted quality certification program by Amazon in the United States. Acceptance by Amazon helps simplify the new requirements of selling dietary supplements on the retail platform for Informed Choice certified brands and further supports Informed Choice’s mission of providing safer supplements.

“Amazon naming Informed Choice as an accepted quality certification program is excellent news for supplement brands with products certified by our global quality assurance program,” says Paul Klinger, Business Development Director of the INFORMED brands. “According to Amazon’s guidelines, brands with a product certified by Informed Choice have already fulfilled two of the three requirements they must meet before selling supplements on the site. Informed Choice is a global quality assurance program developed to help reduce the risk of impurities and banned substances entering sports nutrition products. All certified products are tested by LGC’s world-class anti-doping laboratories for over 250 banned substances in sport using ISO 17025 accredited methods. In order to become Informed Choice certified, products must undergo an extensive pre-certification and post-certification process to ensure the integrity of the products.
